Just to confirm, are you testing this from the App or from are you putting the url into the browser?  I believe the app might hold it's own session cookie, just like using a second browser so I want to confirm you are logging out via API on the browser and then using the same browser to connect to a room. ... Have you considered moving to Adobe's new LMS, Captivate Prime, instead?  We might be able to get the data migrated for you.  Adobe Connect content doesn't move easily, usually Adobe would suggest uploading content from the original Captivate files.  Unfortunately cross linking via xAPI from connect is not likely like it would be from Prime.  ... If you want people to come in automatically as hosts, the best option is to have them login with a username and password.  If they sign in before the host arrives they will be participants, but when the host arrives, they will revert to their assigned roles.  There is no limit on how many are given host or presenter roles to a meeting, but a licensed user needs to be in the room for them to have full functionality unless the concurrent user model is deployed. ... You can move the file to your content library and download it there, but it will be the original, not the annotated white board.  You can also send a snapshot to your email or save a snapshot as a PNG so that you can have the content plus the annotations.  This option is in the drop down menu in the share pod. ... Same effect, yes so if you know you are creating a template you can make it right in the shared templates folder.  It's really still a meeting room so if you reset that new template it should go back to the snapshot from it's creation from the default templates with 3 layouts.  I've never tried that though.  Remember never mess with the default templates themselves. ... Remember you can make your own templates.  One way to do this is to create a room from a base template, with the purpose of it being a specialized template.  Set the room up, including content and break-outs and then move the room to either your template folder or the shared template folder.  once you make a room into a template, it should never be used as a room again and never delete the base templates.  Don't move a meeting room back out of templates if you have created other rooms from it. After it is in the template folder you can create rooms from the new template and then you can reset back to the snapshot whenever you need to. ... View more

You have to remember that recordings are not video screen captures, it is actually a playback of the assets of the session.  If you had an interactive Captivate simulation, that file would be interactive in the recording.  Because you can also have your PDF and PPT files async in the session, those assets are kept and tied to the recording as well.  That is likely what the reference that is giving you the warning.  It's also likely why Adobe doesn't limit storage space on accounts. ... I would suggest instead that you use incognito mode in Chrome and when the room tries to launch into the app, cancel and then choose to view in browser on the next screen,   That should get you into the HTML5 version.  Soon that process will be smoother, but this is a better work around as that switch only works if you use other switches with it and this is simpler to do. ...
